2019 Global Leadership Summit
Registration Instructions

 

Last year, Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis hosted 40+ local Lutheran and Christian leaders at The Global Leadership Summit, a two-day training that equips Christian leaders with vision, skill development, and inspiration to more effectively lead. The Summit provides thought-provoking views on leadership from other leaders - both inside the Church and in the broader community - and challenges those attending on what it means to be an effective leader. Past Summit speakers include General Colin Powel, Dr. Brene Brown, Andy Stanley, Simon Sinek, and many more. Lutheran Foundation staff have attended the Summit for the past eight years and have found it to provide both great inspiration and education on the role of Christian leaders in today’s world.

 

We invite you to join us at the 2019 Global Leadership Summit on August 8-9, 2019! As in past years, we have secured special group pricing of $109/person through 6/25/19 to attend the conference; after that date, the price rises to $139. Lutheran Foundation is offering to subsidize $85 of this registration cost for one leader from your congregation or organization. You are encouraged to sign up additional people at the $109 rate. To receive the subsidy, you must register and provide a copy of your registration to the Foundation by August 2nd.

 

Summit Registration Instructions:

  • Visit https://globalleadership.org/global-leadership-summit/.

  • Click on “Register."

  • Enter your zip code.

  • You will see a couple locations for the St. Louis region. You may register to attend at any of these locations, however, Lutheran Foundation staff will be attending at New Beginnings Lutheran Church – Pacific and will offer those who attend at that location free lunch on Thursday. We know this is a bit of a drive for many, however, will few locations hosting this year, we believe NBLC will be a great place (and with ample space) for our group to gather.

  • Complete the empty fields on the registration page. A few important things to note:

    • For the organization name, enter Lutheran Foundation Of St. Louis.
        • As a Summit Partner, Lutheran Foundation has committed to securing a certain number of registrations. Thus, it is important that you register under our name so that we can continue to be a Summit Partner in the future. Thank you for your cooperation!

    • For organization address, enter 8860 Ladue Rd #200, St. Louis, MO 63124

    • In the priority code field, enter 19PRTORG.
      • You will only receive the discounted rate by entering this priority code.
      • The discount will be applied on the next page.
      • At the request of Willow Creek Association, please do not forward this priority code to anyone outside of your congregation or organization.

 

  • Click “Next: Review/Payment."

  • Provide credit card information. 

  • Agree to the Terms & Agreements.

  • Click “Purchase now."

 

  • On the next page, you can enter attendee information. If you’re not yet sure who will be attending, use the link you receive in your confirmation email to enter attendee information at a later date. You can add attendee information at any time before the Summit.

 

  • You are now registered! A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered in your registration. Again, use the link included in this email to enter attendee information at a later date.

 

To receive your $85 subsidy from Lutheran Foundation:

  • Please forward the email you receive showing your completed registration to Mandy Norbi (mandy@sendmestlouis.org) no later than August 2nd. We will then issue a check made payable to your church or organization in late-August following the Summit.

      • Please Note: We cannot issue a check to an individual. 

      • Again, this subsidy is available for only one leader from your congregation or organization. You will be responsible for covering the full registration cost of any additional people attending from your congregation or organization.

 

Again, you are welcome to register to attend the Summit at any of the area locations, however, Lutheran Foundation will provide lunch on Thursday for those who attend the Summit at New Beginnings Lutheran Church – Pacific. We will contact you later in the summer to coordinate lunch arrangements.
